Rachel - Wonderful, indeed. I will report back on what it's like.

Tracy - I'm hoping the hotel has better facilities than that. If not, I'll take myself, and my vocal chords, elsewhere. (She said, flouncing out like Miss Piggy).

I can remember lying on the bed (or rather plank of wood with threadbare sheet and concrete filled pillow) in the hostel, watching the whirling fan above me, which did absolutely zilch to move any air around, unable to move 'cos I was so hot, tired, dehydrated, sweaty - it was a bit like Willard in his hotel room at the beginning of Apocalypse Now; except I didn't go mental bananas. Too lazy.

Wonderful! Bit humid though. (Looks out window, observes grey clouds, shivers, thinks about central heating and thinks "So what?"). Hugh in the UAE has just lived through the three days of rain that they have, annually. He's complaining at having to wear a second layer in the day time. My heart is bleeding. Actually I'm also wondering what 50 degrees feels like. Which will be the BBC weather picture for June. xx
