PS the 'Groundhog Day' feeling is nothing to do with cheeseiness - more the realisation on awakening on the second day to immediately think: I've got to do the same again tonight... and for two months. that's a new feeling.

ah yes, don't worry - I've been laughing on stage too. in a good way. and they've been laughing with me. I do hope I don't come across as belittling... I am being as honest with the people I'm working with about what I'm after as much as I am on this blog; and in the end, I'm just picking up the ball the Malaysian agent has given me, and trying to run with it. the people seem to like me here, and they are absolutely lovely (more of which I'll write about later). I would never want to belittle them in any way. it's just that their musical experience, as T says, is very different; and that's partly why I've been brought over here, I now realise...

Hello Andreardear

So as the nervous of 'ahh it's me out here and me up here' subsides into the reality of Groundhog Every Day cheese, and as you and the band work together in a mutual cultural learning/appeasement strategy I hope that this laughing internally (albeit publically) turns to the easiness of, whilst on stage, laughing too at all the hilarity that surrounds you up there, in that way that acknowledges, doesn't belittle and shows you're in the know? If that makes sense. Sleep thee well, R
