“Depression is the flaw in love. To be creatures who love, we must be creatures who can despair at what we lose, and depression is the mechanism of that despair.”

how odd, to see a comment from the future, dated tomorrow. And how paradoxical that it should be about depression, which is a feeling of despair about getting through the day, and yet you are already in tomorrow.

actually, a note on the timing of these posts: earlier on I was backdating them slightly sometimes if I was writing at, say, 2am - to make them 23:55 or whatever - because I wanted them to fall under the date that they were written at the end of. if you see what I mean. but as I’m writing so many at the end of the night like this, after doing gigs, then I figure it could get silly. so: the timestamp you see when you’re viewing a single post (ie at the end of said post) is correct. which still makes it ‘tomorrow’… but not by that much.
