(The other two being this one and this one).
I was handed this last night while I was on stage:
Is this a request for a Norah Jones song, or an invitation?
There was no phone number, so unfortunately I can only assume the former.

I think that you should sing something like ‘Is that all there is?’ as your last song.

I don’t know that song. mind you, that doesn’t normally stop me. tonight, I have a feeling I may end up doing a massive pop medley that involves ‘Close To You’, ‘Just The Way You Are’ and ‘This Masquerade’. though not necessarily in that order.

It was a Peggy Lee song and it was on DID on friday and, like rachel I suspect, I thought it might possibly one for you to do.

Hello Both
Actually it wasn’t D.I.D.; last Sunday I was striding through Bristol parkland with my mother and then Friday imprisoned in office (no real player). But I DID hear it via Radio 4 and now you put me to the issue, can’t remember what. But I remember thinking at the time of radio hearing that A should sing it and I was also thinking about what I would play at my funeral (sorry). I make these arrangements before large escapade abroad. I’ve asked my sister (the musical one) to take responsibility and now she’s all agitated. We had quite a funny evening over it actually. Hers is a drama performance - she even acted out the lowering of the coffin to the music. The reason I considered it is the line “If that’s all there is my friends then let’s keep dancing”, which would be appropriate for me. I just spent all day on a dance festival selection panel. We first chose a brilliant woman from New Zealand living in Brussels called Kate McIntyre who also performs with a punk rock band called poni, and then chose a bloke Israel Galvan (flamenco).
